January 2013-August 2013 • Master's Project
Solace is an interactive display for factory workers that allows them to express themselves in the workplace through immersive, expressive experiences. It is the culmination of an 8-month research project with Boeing to explore ways to improve communication during the assembly process of the 787 Dreamliner. As a technical lead on this project, I helped manage the software and hardware development processes needed to prototype Solace and test it with factory workers in Everett, Washington.
Front-end development, WebGL, Interaction Design, Hardware Prototyping, After Effects, Contextual Research and Interviews

The following concept video was created to illustrate the experience of using Solace, and how it can fit into the workday of workers at Boeing.
